It’s nine in the morning and you want one number. Your MRR.
So you open Stripe, find Billing, and read it off the overview. Tomorrow you do it again. Stripe has the number. It just keeps it a few clicks away from where you work.
What the board shows
The MRR widget is one number. Your active and past due subscriptions at their prices, made monthly, with a yearly plan counted as a twelfth. Put a chart and a goal ring on the same MRR stream and they fill in as the board reads it. You watch the line climb and the ring close on your target.
Available balance sits beside it. That’s the money Stripe can pay out to you now.
Sign in with Stripe’s own connector and your agent can go further. Ask for your five newest customers, or the subscriptions that started this week, and it builds the widget from what Stripe sends back.
Where the numbers come from
There are two ways in, and you can use both.
A restricted key: In Stripe, create a restricted key with Read on Balance and Subscriptions, and paste it once in Connect. The board reads your MRR and balance itself. The key is sealed on the board’s server and never sent back to your browser.
Stripe’s own sign-in: Stripe runs an MCP server, the one AI apps use to work with Stripe. The board signs in to it on Stripe’s own page. Stripe’s server can write as well as read, and the board only runs the tools that read, so nothing in your account changes.
Either way, the board reads Stripe while it’s open. If a read fails, the widget keeps the last good number and says what went wrong and when. It never shows a number Stripe didn’t send.
Revenue beside the rest of your work
Stripe’s dashboard is built for running payments. A board is built for the glance.
Your MRR sits next to yesterday’s traffic, the sessions your agents are running and today’s list. Start from the Founder HQ template and the spots for revenue, signups and your agents’ work are already laid out. If you sell through Lemon Squeezy too, put it on the same board, and see the business dashboard for how the rest can fit around it.
