You already ask Claude about your business. How revenue did this week, which issues are still open, whether the launch post landed. It answers. Then the answer scrolls away, and tomorrow you ask again.
Add Context Board to Claude and the answer can stay where you will see it.
What Claude can build on your board
Ask in plain words. “Show my Stripe revenue and newest customers.” “Add a to-do list with these three things.” “Make the board look like a quiet library at night.” Claude reads the board first, so it knows what is already there. Then it adds widgets, arranges them, writes notes, adds tasks and changes the theme.
Plain asks work the way you would hope. “Add this to my to-do list” finds your list. If you have two, Claude asks which.
When no built-in widget fits, Claude writes one. A custom widget runs sealed off from the internet and sees only its own data, so it shows what you asked for and nothing else.
Every change appears at once with Claude’s name on it, and you can undo it. A widget Claude removes goes to a 30-day trash.
Where the numbers come from
The board’s own instructions tell Claude to show only numbers that came from you, a tool or a source. Never placeholders.
For services the board connects to itself, like Stripe, Google Analytics, Search Console or Linear, Claude adds a widget that reads the service live while your board is open. You connect each one once in the board’s Connect window. Claude never asks you for a key.
For anything else Claude can reach, it sends the board what it found. That covers its other connectors and the file you just dropped into the chat. It lands as a number, a list, a table or a short report.
Setting it up
The board is a custom connector in Claude, on the web and in the desktop app. Copy your board’s address from Connect, add it as a custom connector, then click Connect and Allow. There is no key to copy, and the Claude page in Connect turns green the first time Claude reads your board.
Custom connectors work on every Claude plan, and the Free plan can add one. So the cheapest way to try this is the Claude you already have.
