You picked Plausible because it’s simple. One page with the numbers you need.
Then you launch, and you’re refreshing that page every twenty minutes, in a tab you keep losing, while the sales come in somewhere else.
What the board shows
Visitors today counts unique visitors so far today. Visitors (30d) counts the last 30 days. Top pages ranks your most visited pages, and Where they came from lists the sites and searches that sent people, with how many each sent.
Put a chart on the 30-day number and each read adds a point to it. From the day you connect, you can watch the month’s total climb after a launch, or sag in a quiet week, without opening anything.
That’s most of what you check in Plausible on a normal day. On the board it sits with everything else, your Lemon Squeezy or Stripe revenue, your agents, your list for today. A traffic spike and the sales it brought are one glance apart.
Where the numbers come from
You make a Stats API key in Plausible and paste it once in Connect, with your site’s name. The board checks the pair with Plausible, then seals the key on its server. It only ever goes to plausible.io, and every board in your workspace can use it.
Plausible keys belong to the team you made them in, so one key can read each of that team’s sites. Name the site when you add a widget, and two sites can sit side by side.
Visitors today is read every 15 minutes while your board is open, and the 30-day numbers less often. If a read fails, the widget keeps the last good number and says what went wrong and when. It never shows a number Plausible didn’t send.
Launch day
Launch day is when this earns its place. Put Visitors today beside a countdown, your store’s orders and the checklist, and you stop switching tabs to find out whether the post worked. The product launch dashboard starts you there.
