Affinity provides an official hosted MCP server that connects an agent to your Affinity CRM. For VC and dealmaking teams, it means querying and updating companies, people, opportunities, and notes through Claude or Cursor instead of clicking through the app.

Why use it

Relationship intelligence lives in Affinity, but pulling it into a working session is slow. This server lets an agent read your deal and contact data directly, and write updates back, so you can ask about a pipeline or log a note without leaving your workflow.

What it actually does

The agent can query and update companies, people, opportunities, and notes in your Affinity workspace. Example prompts:

  • ‘Show me all open opportunities where we last spoke more than 30 days ago.’
  • ‘Add a note to Acme Corp summarizing today’s call.’
  • ‘Which people are connected to the founders of this company?‘

Gotchas

The server is hosted at mcp.affinity.co/mcp and authenticates with OAuth or an API-key bearer token. Because it can write to your CRM, be careful with prompts that add or change records, since an agent can act on a misread request. It only reaches data your account can see, and it assumes you already run your deal flow in Affinity. This is not a general CRM connector.

We build MCP-native tools that give your AI the context it cannot reach on its own. Bookmarks turns your saved posts into agent-queryable memory. SEO puts live keyword and ranking data inside Claude. Both run alongside Affinity in the same client.
