- Do people search for what you do? Good 880 searches a month for "emergency dentist austin"
- Where do you show up on Google? Needs work You're 8th. Bluebonnet Smiles is 2nd. for "emergency dentist austin"
- Does ChatGPT recommend you? Needs work ChatGPT and Claude: yes. Gemini and Perplexity: not yet.
- What should you fix first? Fix first Add a short description to your Austin page. Without one, Google writes its own blurb under your link.
Your local SEO report,
in plain English.
Ask the AI assistant you already use, like Claude, how your business shows up on Google and in ChatGPT. It looks up the real numbers, tells you what to fix first, and saves every answer to your SEO Dashboard.
Then $35/mo for 1,000 credits
An illustration of a local SEO report for an example business, Pecan Row Dental, a dentist in Austin, TX. It answers four questions in plain words. Do people search for what you do: 880 searches a month for "emergency dentist austin", marked good. Where do you show up on Google: the business is 8th for that search and its competitor Bluebonnet Smiles is 2nd, marked needs work. Does ChatGPT recommend you: ChatGPT and Claude name the business, Gemini and Perplexity do not yet, marked needs work. What to fix first: add a short description to the Austin page, because without one Google writes its own blurb under the link. Beside the report, the question the owner typed into their AI assistant, "How does my dental practice show up on Google in Austin?", and a note that it saved to the SEO Dashboard.

Why a local SEO report takes so long
- A template is just empty boxes A report template tells you what to check, then leaves every number to you. Each box means another tool to learn.
- An AI assistant on its own guesses Ask ChatGPT or Claude on their own and they cannot see search numbers. At best they read one Google page, so you get nothing to compare next month.
- With ContextBolt SEO, it is one question Your assistant looks up the real numbers and answers in plain words. A full report fits in the free trial several times over.
How to get a local SEO report from your AI assistant
- Step 1 Start your free trial Seven days free, card upfront. The trial covers several full reports, so you can run yours again after you fix things, or check a second business.
- Step 2 Connect your AI assistant In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors, then +, and add a custom connector with the link https://seo.contextbolt.app/mcp. Other assistants take the same link. Sign in with the code we email you, then ask it to connect Search Console (Google's free tool that shows what people searched to find you). It only reads, and it costs nothing.
- Step 3 Ask your question Tell it your business, what you do, your town and one competitor. It looks everything up, answers in plain words, and saves each answer to your SEO Dashboard.
The same URL works in Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and Muse Code, on the same credits. Every integration
What goes in a local SEO report
Seven questions about your business and your town. Your assistant answers each one with a live lookup, and every answer saves to your SEO Dashboard.
- 1 How often people search for what you doHow many times a month people in the US search for your service with your town in it, and how hard each search is to rank for.
- 2 Where you show up on GoogleGoogle's top 10 for your main search, where you sit in it, and whether the map pack (the map with three businesses Google often puts at the top) shows up.
- 3 What your competitor shows up for that you don'tThe searches your competitor down the road appears for, checked against yours, so you see what you are missing.
- 4 Websites that link to your competitor, not youWebsites, like a local directory or a neighborhood blog, that link to your competitor and not to you. Each one is a site you could ask.
- 5 Problems on your page Google noticesYour town page checked for a missing title or description, messy headings, slow loading and pages Google cannot add to its results, worst problem first.
- 6 What Google already shows you forSearch Console (Google's free tool that shows what people searched to find you): the searches with your town in them that already bring you up, with clicks. Free.
- 7 Whether ChatGPT and others recommend youWhether ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity name you when someone asks them for "best dentist in Austin".

Why build it with ContextBolt SEO
What our users say
The biggest thing is it cuts out the guessing. Instead of sitting there wondering what to chase next, I can get a pretty clear direction quickly and turn it into actual pages for the sites.
Will Founder, Feisty Agency feistyagency.com “I was looking for a fast way to get real SEO data without learning yet another dashboard. ContextBolt nails that… I can ask for keyword difficulty, SERP overviews and competitor research in plain language, right in the tool where I already do my work.”
Fred fredrobert.com “I like your product because it doesn’t feel like a whole new system I need to learn. I just added the MCP to my Claude config for the local website repo and started asking questions.”
Matthias ordicall.ai “The research compounds instead of disappearing after each session.”

What should a local SEO report include?
It should show how your business shows up when people search for what you do in your town. Ours answers seven questions: how often people search for it, where you show up on Google (and whether the map pack, the map with three businesses at the top, appears), what your competitor shows up for that you don't, which websites link to them and not to you, what is wrong with your page, what Google already shows you for, and whether ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity name you. To check your site item by item, use the local SEO checklist.
How much does a local SEO report cost?
About 16 credits for one business and one competitor. ContextBolt SEO starts with a 7-day free trial with 100 credits, card upfront, then it is $35 a month for 1,000 credits. Most lookups cost 1 credit, the link check 3 and each AI answer 2. Search Console questions are free, because it is your own data.
Can I build local SEO reports for clients?
Yes. Name the client's website, town and competitor instead of your own. You pay in credits, not per website. To read their Search Console, the client adds your Google account as a user. Your SEO Dashboard is private to you, with no share link, so send the client the write-up your assistant gives you.
Which AI assistants does it work in?
Any assistant that takes a custom MCP connector (a link that plugs a new tool into it), including Claude, Claude Code, Cursor and Codex, plus ChatGPT on plans that allow custom connectors. It is one link, https://seo.contextbolt.app/mcp, and the same credits everywhere. How it works walks through the setup.
How do I see if ChatGPT recommends my business?
Ask your assistant to put "best [what you do] in [your town]" to ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity. Each comes back live with the websites it used, and a plain verdict: it names you, it only uses your website as a source, or it leaves you out. AI visibility covers tracking it over time.
Do I need Search Console connected?
No, but it is the free part, and the only one built from your own visitors. Search Console is Google's free tool that shows what people searched to find you. Connected read only, it shows the searches with your town in them that already bring you up, with clicks and where you sit. The guide to connecting Search Console to AI shows how.
Does it track the map pack or my Google Business Profile?
No. The report covers the website half of local SEO. It shows whether Google puts a map pack (the map with three businesses) on a search, not who is in it or in what order. Your Google Business Profile, reviews and "near me" rank grids are a different job: the profile and reviews live in Google's own free tools, and grid trackers such as BrightLocal, Local Falcon and Whitespark check rankings street by street. Search numbers are per country, so a search that names your town, like "emergency dentist austin", is measured well. A plain "near me" search changes from block to block, and a country-level number cannot show that.
How often should I run a local SEO report?
Once a month is a good rhythm for a local business. Ask again and each repeat lookup starts with what moved since last time. Repeat lookups cost their credits again, and Search Console stays free. For a closer look at one Google results page, see SERP analysis with Claude.
