  • ContextBolt's export carries the text Title, text, author, post date, topic and tags on every row, ready once your saved list has synced. The file is on Pro.

Can you export Reddit saved posts?

Yes. Reddit's own data request, at reddit.com/settings/data-request, sends a ZIP within 30 days. Its saved_posts.csv holds a post ID and a link for each save, with no title or text. ContextBolt exports the saves it has captured as CSV, JSON or Excel, with titles and text, on Pro.

Is it free?

Capturing and searching are free up to 150 bookmarks, with no account and no credit card. Exporting to a file is on Pro, $6 a month, which also removes the 150 cap.

Does the export include saved comments?

Yes. A saved comment comes out with its own text, and its Title reads [Comment on: …] followed by the title of the post it replied to. The Type column reads post for both, so filter the Title column to split comments from posts.

What columns are in the CSV?

Eleven: Exported At, Saved At, Post Date, Platform, Topic Cluster, Type, Author, Title, Content, URL and Tags. The subreddit is in the URL, as /r/name/. Excel has the same columns. JSON carries the same details for each save, for developers or a move to another tool.

Can it export saves past Reddit's 1,000 limit?

Only saves it has captured. ContextBolt reads what your saved list still shows, up to Reddit's 1,000, then adds each new save as you make it. Saves Reddit no longer lists are out of its reach. Reddit's data request does reach them, as bare links, so file one for your oldest saves. Our guide to exporting Reddit saved posts walks through it.

Can I export only recent saves?

Yes. Saved in narrows the file to the last 7, 30 or 90 days, or 12 months. It counts from the day ContextBolt picked a save up, so everything from your first sync shares that date. Post Date holds when each one was posted on Reddit.

Do I need a Reddit API key or my password?

No. ContextBolt runs in your browser and reads your saved list through the Reddit session you are already signed into. There is no app to register with Reddit. It never posts, votes or comments.

Does it download images and videos?

No. Each row holds the text, the author, the dates, the topic, the tags and the link back to Reddit. Image and video files stay on Reddit.
