Search the LinkedIn saves
LinkedIn refuses to.
ContextBolt adds its own save button to posts in your LinkedIn feed. One click keeps the post's text and author, tagged by topic. Then find it in seconds, next to your X and Reddit saves.

Why LinkedIn saves are hard to find
- No search on the saved posts page It is one list, newest first. To find a post from March, you scroll back to March.
- The official export is links, not posts The Saved Items file in LinkedIn’s data download holds a link and a date for each save. No text, no author.
- A deleted post leaves your list When the author deletes a post, your save goes with it, with no warning. The link in the export stops opening too.
How to save and search LinkedIn posts
- Step 1 Add ContextBolt to Chrome One click from the Chrome Web Store. No account and no card. ContextBolt never asks for your LinkedIn password.
- Step 2 Click Save to ContextBolt on a post A bookmark icon sits beside the three-dot menu on posts in your feed. One click keeps the post's text and author, tagged by topic.
- Step 3 Search by word, author or tag Open your library and type. Results come back as you type, typos and all, across LinkedIn, X and Reddit. Add on:linkedin for LinkedIn alone.
Pro adds a personal MCP endpoint, so Claude, Cursor or Codex can search these saves in a conversation. How the connection works
Two ways your LinkedIn saves get in
LinkedIn does not share your saved list with other apps, so ContextBolt never reads it. You bring posts in yourself, by either route, or both.
- 01The button, for every save from now onA bookmark icon sits beside the ··· menu on posts in your feed. One click keeps the post’s text and author, tagged by topic. It is our button, not LinkedIn’s own Save.
- 02The import, for the saves you already haveRequest your LinkedIn data download with Saved Items selected. LinkedIn emails it, which can take up to 48 hours. Upload the Saved Items CSV in ContextBolt’s settings and those saves come in as links, since a link and a date is all LinkedIn’s file holds.

Can I search my saved posts on LinkedIn itself?
No. LinkedIn's saved posts page has no search box. It is one list, newest first, so finding an old save means scrolling back to it. ContextBolt gives the posts you save with it a search box, with results as you type.
How does the ContextBolt save button work?
The extension adds a small bookmark icon, titled Save to ContextBolt, beside the three-dot menu on posts in your LinkedIn feed. Click it and the post's text and author go into your library, where they are tagged by topic. It is our button, separate from LinkedIn's own Save, so it does not change your LinkedIn saved list.
Can it bring in the posts I already saved on LinkedIn?
Yes, as links. ContextBolt never reads your LinkedIn saved list. Instead, request your LinkedIn data download (Settings & Privacy, then Data Privacy, then Download your data) with Saved Items selected. LinkedIn emails it, which can take up to 48 hours. Unzip it and upload the Saved Items CSV in ContextBolt's settings. LinkedIn's file holds only a link and a date for each save, so those saves arrive as links without the post text.
Is it safe for my LinkedIn account?
ContextBolt only acts when you click its button, and it saves only the post you clicked. It does not scroll your feed, post, message anyone or call LinkedIn's API. It never asks for your LinkedIn password.
What happens if the author deletes a post I saved?
If you saved it with the ContextBolt button, the text stays in your library, because ContextBolt keeps its own copy from the moment you click. A save that came in from LinkedIn's CSV is only a link, so it stops opening once the post is gone.
Does it save comments or ads?
No. The button sits on posts, not on comments, and it skips promoted posts. A post with no text gets no button, since there is nothing to keep. To keep a good reply, save the post it sits under.
Is it free?
Yes, up to 150 bookmarks, across LinkedIn, X, Reddit and the web pages you save. No account and no card. Pro is $6 a month. It removes the cap, syncs your library, and lets Claude, Cursor or Codex search your saves.
