Reddit keeps 1,000.
You keep all of them.
Reddit stops showing your saves after 1,000 and gives you no search. ContextBolt indexes every save it captures, posts and comments, and finds any of them from a few words.
Nothing matches that yet. Try a topic, or fewer words.

ChatGPT What Reddit gives you.
An illustration of a Reddit saved list. Below a line marked as Reddit's 1,000 save cap, older saves are greyed out because Reddit no longer displays them. ContextBolt keeps all 3,847.
- 1,000Saves, then the cap
- Reddit shows your most recent 1,000 saved items. Save the 1,001st and the oldest one drops off the end.
- 0Ways to search them
- There is no search box for saved posts. Finding last year's save means scrolling until you happen to spot it.
- 30dFor a list of bare links
- Reddit's official data request can take up to 30 days and returns a CSV of post IDs and links. No titles, no text, nothing to search.
How it works, in three steps.
- Install it Free, from the Chrome Web Store. No account, no API key, no Reddit developer app.
- Open your saved page once ContextBolt scrolls the whole list, posts and comments, and indexes everything Reddit will still serve.
- Ask for it later Describe the save, typos and all. Every save gets topic tags on its own, so posts about the same thing sit together whichever subreddit they came from.
Pro adds a personal MCP endpoint, so Claude, Cursor or Codex can search these saves in a conversation. How the connection works
Built to find, not just to store.
Real users. Real libraries.
Chrome Web Store 5.0 from 7 ratings 300+ users. Free, and yours to keep even if you never pay a cent. See the listing As an X/Twitter user, I’ve bookmarked close to 2,000 tweets, posts, videos and articles over the years. The problem is there isn’t an easy or straightforward way for me to extract, summarise, or synthesise the content I find insightful… ContextBolt solves this challenge for me.
Common questions.
Does it work on old.reddit.com and new Reddit?
It syncs from www.reddit.com through your own logged-in session, whichever layout you normally browse in. If you live on old.reddit.com, open www.reddit.com once or press Sync Reddit in the popup.
How does it reach posts I saved years ago?
The first time you visit your saved page, ContextBolt scrolls the full list with pagination and indexes everything Reddit will still serve. Whatever it captures on that sweep stays in your library afterward, even once Reddit stops listing it.
What happens to posts that get deleted?
If you saved it before it was removed, ContextBolt already has the text. It indexes at save time rather than reading back from the API later, so your copy survives the deletion.
Will Reddit ban me for using it?
ContextBolt reads only your own saved page, through your own browser session. It does not scrape at scale, post automatically, or hit the API aggressively. There is no policy violation.
Do I need an API key or a Reddit app?
No. There is no API key, no OAuth screen, and no Reddit developer app to register. Install the extension and browse Reddit the way you already do.
Can I export my Reddit saves to a file?
Yes, on Pro: CSV, JSON or XLSX from the dashboard, with the text and the topic tags. Most people find the search makes the export unnecessary, but it is there, and there is no 30-day wait.
How are my saves organized?
Every save gets topic tags on its own, so posts about the same thing sit together even when they came from six different subreddits. You can browse by what something was about rather than where you found it.
Does it cost anything?
Free up to 150 bookmarks. Pro is $6/mo for unlimited saves and the endpoint that connects your library to Claude, Cursor and Codex. See pricing.
Does it handle X and LinkedIn too?
Yes, the same library holds all three. If you save across platforms, one search covers the lot. The main bookmarks page covers how that works.
