You have a product update on Thursday. The numbers are in a sheet, the launch plan is a doc page, and what shipped is in your notes. Gamma will design a good-looking deck from a prompt, once you hand it those facts.
Context Board starts from the other end. Its Slides boards sit in the same workspace as your docs and sheets, and your own agents write the deck from them. Context Board is ours, so weigh the bias. Gamma’s prices below were read on its own pages on November 4, 2026.
A deck in the same workspace as your work
Slide 3 is a chart from a sheet, so it changes when the sheet does. The ⋯ menu brings a deck in and takes it out. Example deck, example numbers.
The slides run down the left, and you type straight onto the open one. Speaker notes sit under it. Layouts like Title, Two columns, Big number and Widget come in Paper, Night, Bold or Editorial.
Ask Claude to “turn the launch plan into a slide deck.” It reads the page, writes the slides and their notes, and each one shows that Claude wrote it. Ask Codex for “a slide with the MRR chart” and the chart takes its numbers from your Running costs sheet. Change the sheet and the slide follows. A widget on a slide, like MRR from Stripe, stays live while you present.
Press P and the deck fills the screen from the open slide. Presenter view keeps your notes, the next slide and a timer in front of you. The Slides docs list every layout and key.
How a deck gets made on the board
- Ask Claude: turn the launch plan into a slide deck
- It reads the page and writes the slides, signed
- Codex adds the MRR chart from your sheet
- Press P to present, or download a .pptx
The ask can come from the board’s own chat, which runs on your Claude Code or Codex plan, or from any app you connect over MCP. Every change lands in Board activity with the agent’s name and an Undo.
What your agents can do in each
- Reads the deck, your doc pages and your sheets
- Writes a whole deck from Markdown, or slides after any slide
- Sets layouts, styles, speaker notes and charts
- Runs on the plan you already pay for
- Generates a gamma from a prompt, through Gamma’s connector
- Edits an existing gamma, from Claude or ChatGPT
- Exports PDF, PPTX or PNG
- Spends Gamma credits on each generation and edit
Gamma has AI of its own and a strong agent story. Its hosted MCP server works on every plan, and it powers the Gamma connectors in Claude, ChatGPT and Slack. The difference is where the deck lives. In Gamma, your agent makes a gamma. On the board, your agent works on the same pages, sheets and numbers you do, and the deck is one more board beside them.
What it costs
Gamma’s yearly prices from its pricing page on November 4, 2026. It says yearly billing saves up to 28% on monthly. Context Board is $12 a month.
Context Board’s $12 a month covers the whole workspace. That’s the deck, the doc it came from, the sheet behind the chart and the dashboard with your live MRR. Gamma’s seat covers decks, docs and sites, with its AI on monthly credits. On the board there are no credits to watch, because your agents work on the plans you already have.
Where Gamma still fits
Pick Gamma when you want a designed deck, doc or web page from one prompt and don’t have the material written down yet. It makes the whole thing at once, with AI images and a theme builder, publishes sites on your own domain from Pro, and shows who viewed what. It also suits a team that shares brand themes across seats.
Context Board is built for one person and their agents, with no team plan or seats. If your decks come from work you already keep, start there. The Claude slides guide compares every way to make slides with Claude.
Try it with your next update
Make a Slides board and ask your agent to turn this week’s notes into five slides, with the MRR chart from your sheet. Press P. If it is the deck you would have built, you’ve saved the copying.
Start your Context Board, free for 3 days. Got a deck already? Import the .pptx, or turn it into Markdown first.
