ContextBolt Field Guide No. 05: The Stack

How one person ships a SaaS every day

One person. A full-time job. About 10 hours a week on the side.

In the last two weeks that side project shipped 25 blog posts, 40 SEO pages, and a product update every single day.

Not because I work fast. Because the work runs without me. Here's the whole stack.

Five layers, one keyboard. And the one plug that does the SEO for me.

The idea

The trick was never working more hours. It was never doing the same thing twice

Every founder hits the same wall. There's the building, the fixing, and the marketing, and there's one of you. Something always slips. Usually it's the marketing, because it's the part with no deadline.

The stack is how I stopped choosing. Not by working nights. By handing every repeatable job to Claude Code once, wiring it to the real data, and letting it run.

The vault holds the context. Skills hold the recipes. Scheduled tasks hold the calendar. MCP servers hold the keys to my actual data. Deploy makes shipping free. Each layer does one job, and together they turn a 10-hour founder into something closer to a small team.

A solo founder doesn't need more hours. They need leverage that compounds while they're asleep.
The stack

Five layers. Each one does a single job

01

The vault

Obsidian, one folder, plain markdown. Every decision, every number, every rule about how I write lives in it. One file holds one fact.

Claude reads the vault at the start of every session. It never forgets the project, the voice, or the call we made three weeks ago. The vault is the brain. Everything else is hands.

02

Skills

Seven Claude Code skills. Each one is a named command for a workflow I run every week: the daily blog post, the analytics report, the weekly review, the reply drafts.

I type one word. The skill already knows what to read, what to write, and the order to do it in. No re-explaining the recipe every time.

03

Scheduled

Five tasks that run while I sleep. A daily site pulse, a blog draft, a Search Console quick-win sweep, reply drafts, and a weekly SEO deep dive.

I wake up to work that is already half done. The day job pays the bills while the stack keeps shipping.

04

MCP servers

Eight live data and tool plugs: analytics, Search Console, email, the browser, and the one doing the SEO heavy lifting, our own ContextBolt SEO.

This is the layer that turns Claude from a writer into an operator. It stops guessing and starts reading the real numbers, then acting on them.

The one I lean on hardest is my own: ContextBolt SEO. It puts my Search Console data and live keyword numbers straight inside Claude, so the SEO work happens in the same window I build in. More on that below.

05

Deploy

Commit to live in 48 seconds. GitHub Actions builds the site, Cloudflare Pages ships it. No staging dance, no manual steps.

Short feedback loops are the whole game. When shipping is free, you ship every day, and every day compounds.

None of these are clever on their own. A vault is just notes. A skill is just a prompt. The leverage is in the wiring, where one instruction runs forever without me touching it again.

The layer that earns its keep

The SEO runs inside the same window I build in

Marketing is the layer that slips for most founders. It slipped for me too, until I stopped treating SEO as a separate tool I had to remember to open. I gave my agent the keys to the data instead. Now I just ask.

your agent · ContextBolt SEO

That's one question, answered against my real Search Console data and live market numbers at the same time. No dashboard, no export, no second tab. The agent reads where I actually rank, checks what the term is worth, and hands me the move.

This is the difference between an AI that writes and an AI that operates. Give it the data and it stops guessing.

The easy button

The SEO layer of my stack, as a product. ContextBolt SEO.

You can wire this up yourself. A Google Cloud project, the Search Console API, OAuth credentials, an MCP server. It works, and it's worth doing.

Or skip the wiring. ContextBolt SEO connects your Search Console with one Google sign-in, then brings the market with it. Your agent sees both halves at once: what Google thinks of you, and what the whole field looks like. It's the exact plug I use in my own stack.

Your data

Google Search Console
  • Your pages and clicks
  • Impressions and CTR
  • Where you rank, right now
  • The queries you show up for
Your agent

The market

Keyword + SERP data
  • Real search volume
  • Real difficulty
  • The live SERP
  • Your competitors, and you

One side is your truth. The other is the map. Your agent reads both and tells you the next move.

Steal the whole stack

The vault, the seven skills, the scheduled tasks, the MCP servers, the deploy pipeline.

All sixteen pages, yours to keep.
