Every ContextBolt SEO subscriber gets a board. It is a private web page that fills itself with the research your agent runs, so the answers you already got have somewhere to live.
You never work in it. Ask your agent a question in chat, and by the time you have read the answer the card is on the board. That is the whole interaction.
Getting your link
Ask your agent:
“What is my board link?”
It calls get_board_link and hands back your URL. The link is free, costs no lookups, and is also in your welcome email.
Treat the link like a password: Anyone who has it can see the board, with no login. That is what makes it easy to send to a client, and it is why you should not post it in public.
What is on it
The board opens on an Overview, which is curated rather than a dump of everything.
- Your site, at the top: clicks over the last 28 days, a 14-day trend line, and the day’s biggest change written out as a sentence. The stat strip here needs Search Console connected.
- Your backlink authority, pinned second.
- Fresh Search Console queries, refreshed nightly.
- Share of voice, with competitor bars.
- Your most recent keyword subjects, newest first.
- Site and page audits, with a health ring. Green above 75, amber down to 50, red below.
Category chips across the top preview the newest cards in each group. Search covers everything, uncapped, so you find the rest by typing rather than scrolling.
Your agent keeps it tidy
The board is not a passive archive. Your agent can arrange it for you with curate_board, and it does this on its own at the end of a research session, so the board reads like someone organized it without you asking.
You can also just say what you want:
“Feature the cold brew research on my board.”
“Set the focus line to ‘shipping the pricing page this week’.”
Pinning works on every non-system card. Pin one and it stays on the Overview; unpin it and it drops off unless it holds a rotating slot. Drag to rearrange, and the arrangement sticks.
Sharing it
Send the link. Whoever opens it needs no account, no login and no export, and they see the same board you do.
If you want the old link dead, regenerate it. The previous URL stops working immediately.
For agency and consulting work, one board per client is the usual pattern, alongside the per-client ./seo-findings/ folder.
Search Console and the stat strip
Connecting Search Console is optional, free, read-only and takes about 20 seconds. It is what fills the stat strip on the hero card, the trend line and the query cards.
Without it, the board still works. You get every research, audit, backlink and AI-visibility card you have run, plus a prompt to connect. Connecting is what turns the board from an archive into something worth opening daily.
Cost
Free. The board itself, get_board_link and curate_board all cost zero lookups, on every plan and during the trial.
If a client says the link is broken
Three things to check, in order.
- Has the link been regenerated? A regenerated board invalidates the old URL. Ask your agent for the link again and resend it.
- Is the subscription active? A board goes with the subscription. Access ends when the plan does.
- Did the link get mangled in an email client? Some clients wrap long URLs. Send it as a plain link rather than pasted text.
