You have nine live deals. Four are in the middle of a conversation, two are waiting on a proposal, and one went quiet three weeks ago. You do not need a sales team’s CRM for that. You need to know who, how much, what happens next and when.
What Pipedrive costs, and what you get
Pipedrive is a good CRM for a sales team. Its pricing page showed Lite at €14, Growth at €39, Premium at €59 and Ultimate at €79 per seat per month, billed annually. Billed monthly, Lite was €24 and Growth €49. A 14-day free trial needs no card. Our server is in Germany, so the page showed euros, and yours may differ.
Lite covers lead, calendar and pipeline management, report creation from a text prompt, and 500+ integrations. The things a sales team leans on start higher up. Full email sync, automations and email sequences begin on Growth. Lead routing, scoring and e-signatures are on Premium. Each of those is priced per seat.
A client pipeline for one person
Context Board is ours, so weigh the bias. It is a web app at board.contextbolt.com, a live board your agents keep current. One of its board types is a Client pipeline: deals in columns, from first hello to won.
A new pipeline starts with Lead, Talking, Proposal sent and Won. You rename the columns to suit your work. Each deal holds its value, a next step with a date, an email and a phone number, and a history of calls, emails, meetings and what was agreed. A Follow-ups list shows what is due today, what is late, and open deals with no next step. More imports deals from a CSV and downloads them back. The boards guide lists every key.
The example board on this page shows the widgets that sit in a column beside a pipeline, and every number on it is example data. The pipeline itself is its own board type, with columns and cards.
Your agent keeps it up
The part you would otherwise skip is the typing. Add the board to Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex or Cursor by its address, sign in on an Allow page, and say “log my call with Priya, follow up Thursday.” The agent writes the note, sets the next step and moves the deal in one go. Its name sits on what it did, and you can undo it.
Ask “which deals have no next step?” and it answers from the deals and their histories. Pipedrive has an MCP server for Claude and ChatGPT too, on every plan.
What it costs
Context Board is free for 3 days, then $12 a month. One plan, every board type, no seats. Your revenue, your week as a day planner and your proposals as a doc board come with it. Pipedrive’s price depends on the plan and the number of seats, so the right comparison is what you would actually switch on. If you only need leads, a calendar and a pipeline, Lite is the one to look at. If you need inbox sync, that is Growth.
Where Pipedrive still fits
Pick Pipedrive if more than one person works your deals. It syncs your email to each one and tracks opens and clicks. It runs automations and sequences, builds forecast reports, and gives a team lead routing, shared inboxes and permissions. Pipedrive Nova briefs you before a meeting, transcribes the call and drafts CRM updates for you to approve.
Context Board does none of that. It holds the deals and the history, and your agent or you add to it. For a longer list of tools, read our guide to Pipedrive alternatives, or start your Context Board and import your live deals from a CSV.
