Stop losing your X bookmarks.
Find them all by meaning.
ContextBolt captures every X bookmark, AI-tags it, and makes them searchable from your browser or any AI assistant. Free while in beta.
The problem
Why this is harder than it should be
X caps you at 800 bookmarks. The 801st pushes the oldest off the end. Native search is keyword-only and ignores threads. CSV exports give you a flat file no one ever opens. You bookmark, you forget, you lose.
How ContextBolt does it
Three steps. All automatic.
Install for Chrome (one click)
Add the free ContextBolt extension. No account, no credit card, no API keys. Works in Chrome, Brave, Arc, and Edge.
Browse X normally
Every bookmark is captured, the full text indexed, and AI-tagged by topic. Threads are walked and stored as a single searchable item.
Search by meaning, or via Claude
Find bookmarks by what they were about, not the exact words. Pro users get an MCP endpoint so Claude and Cursor can search them mid-conversation.
MCP integration
Searchable from inside your AI agent
Pro users get a personal MCP endpoint. One line of config and Claude, Cursor, or Windsurf can search your bookmarks during a conversation.
Plug into the AI tools you already use

Why ContextBolt
Built for retrieval, not just storage
No more 800-bookmark cap
ContextBolt indexes once and keeps them. Your library never shrinks because X's UI does.
Threads stay alive
Bookmark a thread head, ContextBolt grabs the chain. Even if the author deletes it later.
Searchable from Claude and Cursor
Pro MCP endpoint plugs your bookmarks into any AI agent. Ask 'what did I save about hiring?' and get an answer.

FAQ
Common questions
Is it really free?
Yes. The Basic tier is free and covers up to 150 bookmarks with AI tagging, topic clustering, and semantic search. No credit card needed. Pro is GBP 4 per month for unlimited bookmarks plus the personal MCP endpoint and encrypted cloud sync.
Do I need to give X my password?
No. ContextBolt is a browser extension that reads the bookmark page you are already logged into. Your X password never touches our servers. There is no OAuth, no API key.
Will it slow my browser down?
No. The extension does its work in a service worker, separate from the page you are viewing. Tagging and embeddings run on our servers, not in the tab.
What happens to bookmarks I had before installing?
When you next visit your X bookmarks page, ContextBolt walks the full list (no 800-cap, because it reads the rendered page, not the API) and back-fills your library.
How do I connect it to Claude or Cursor?
Pro users get a personal MCP endpoint URL. Paste it into your .mcp.json or Cursor's mcp config and your AI can search your bookmarks alongside its other tools.
