Give Claude access
to your bookmarks.
ContextBolt's personal MCP endpoint plugs every saved tweet, Reddit post, and LinkedIn save into Claude. Search by meaning, mid-conversation. Setup takes 60 seconds.
The problem
Why this is harder than it should be
Claude does not know what you have saved. You either paste links into the chat one by one, or accept that your bookmark library and your AI do not talk. Most people just give up and ask Claude to research the whole topic from scratch. Again.
How ContextBolt does it
Three steps. All automatic.
Install for Chrome (one click)
Add the free ContextBolt extension. It captures bookmarks from X, Reddit, and LinkedIn in the background. No account, no API key.
Copy your personal MCP endpoint
Pro users get a personal MCP URL in the dashboard. One click to copy. The URL is read-only and revocable from the same screen.
Paste it into Claude Desktop, Cursor, or Code
Add one block to your MCP config. Restart the client. Claude can now search your bookmarks from any conversation.
MCP integration
Searchable from inside your AI agent
Pro users get a personal MCP endpoint. One line of config and Claude, Cursor, or Windsurf can search your bookmarks during a conversation.

Why ContextBolt
Built for retrieval, not just storage
Your Claude finally remembers
Ask 'what did I save about hiring?' and Claude searches your real saved content, not a hallucinated summary. The library is yours, not Anthropic's.
Works with any MCP client
Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, Cline. One MCP endpoint. Every client that speaks the protocol can read it.
Read-only and revocable
The endpoint is search-only. Claude can read your bookmarks but never write or delete. Revoke or rotate the token from the dashboard any time.

FAQ
Common questions
What is MCP and why does Claude need it?
Model Context Protocol is an open standard from Anthropic that lets AI assistants connect to external tools and data sources. Claude does not know what you have saved unless you tell it. An MCP server is the bridge. ContextBolt is an MCP server that exposes your bookmarks, so Claude can search them mid-conversation.
Which AI tools does the ContextBolt MCP endpoint work with?
Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, and Cline are all supported and tested. Any MCP client that supports HTTP transport works. We have setup guides for each at /integrations/.
Do I need coding experience to set this up?
No. Setup is one JSON snippet pasted into a config file, then a client restart. If you have used Claude Code or Cursor before, you can do this in under five minutes. The dashboard gives you copy-paste-ready snippets for each client.
Is this free or do I need Pro?
The MCP endpoint is a Pro feature. Pro is GBP 4 per month and includes unlimited bookmarks, encrypted cloud sync, and the personal MCP endpoint. The Chrome extension itself is free, with up to 150 bookmarks indexed on the free tier for local-only use.
Is my bookmark data safe?
Yes. The MCP token grants read-only access to your own bookmarks. No passwords, no PII, no payment data. You can rotate or revoke the token from the dashboard. Bookmarks are end-to-end-encrypted in cloud sync.
Can Claude write to my bookmarks, or only read?
Read-only. The MCP endpoint exposes search and retrieve. Claude can find a bookmark and quote it, but cannot delete, edit, or add new entries. That is by design. Claude reading your library is helpful. Claude editing it is not.
