Quick answers to the most common questions about getting started and using ContextBolt.

Visit the Chrome Web Store and click "Add to Chrome". ContextBolt works with Chrome, Brave, Arc, Edge, and any Chromium-based browser. After installing, you'll see the ContextBolt icon in your browser toolbar.

After installing, go to x.com/i/bookmarks in your browser. ContextBolt automatically captures your bookmarks as the page loads. Scroll down to sync older bookmarks. You only need to do this once for your existing bookmarks; new ones are captured automatically.

Visit reddit.com/user/YOUR_USERNAME/saved in your browser. ContextBolt will detect and capture your saved posts automatically. Scroll down to load more saved posts if needed.

ContextBolt adds a small save button to LinkedIn feed posts. Click it on any post you want to capture. Only posts you explicitly save are stored. Browse your LinkedIn feed as normal and save the posts that matter.

MCP (Model Context Protocol) lets AI tools like Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, and Windsurf search your bookmarks as live context. It's a Pro feature. Open the ContextBolt extension, go to Settings, copy your MCP config JSON, and paste it into your AI tool's MCP configuration file. The extension shows you exactly where to paste it.

Yes. Open the ContextBolt extension, go to Settings, and use the Export option to download your bookmarks as JSON. Your data is always yours.

All bookmark data stays in your browser by default. The only data sent to our servers is text content for AI processing, which is processed in memory and discarded immediately. Pro cloud sync is encrypted at rest. Read our full privacy policy for details.

Your subscription is managed through Lemon Squeezy. You'll receive a customer portal link in your purchase confirmation email where you can update payment details, change plans, or cancel anytime. You can also email [email protected] for help.
